Do you know that under the 105-Day Expanded Maternity Leave Law (Section 11, RA 11210) female workers who are non-members of the SSS are entitled to maternity benefits. However, they shall be governed by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) Circular No. 022-2014 or the “Social Health Insurance Coverage and Benefits for Women About to Give Birth.”

Do you know that under the 105-Day Expanded Maternity Leave Law (RA 11210) those covered for the grant of maternity leave are all female workers in the government and private sector, including in the informal economy, regardless of the civil status or the legitimacy of her child.
